LIFE UPDATE!!!Introducing my first short film,It comes on a day that is very important to me. As most of you know by now the Philippines changed my life. Everyday that I’m here I discover something new that inspires me. The people of this country inspire me, and this particular film tells the story of a family whom I met in Palawan. To all of my Filipino friends, whether we shared a tennis court or a soccer field, a screen or a studio, thank you for helping me become the person who I am today. I love you. Happy Independence Day, and Mabuhay Pilipinas...I would also like to give a very special mention to my family at Kilusang Sining for without their help this film would not be possible. To my friend and Executive Producer, Enriq Pingol , the amount of times you have picked me up and taught me a life lesson far exceeds the number of times I’ve stepped on dog shit in the office. You are wise beyond your years, and I am beyond greateful to call you my friend and partner in filipino cinema. Keep encouraging people to follow the arts. To my Director of Photography and co-Director, Kris Ulrich Cazin, you’re ability to adapt to any situation baffles me. You are one of the most talented filmmakers whom I know, and words cannot thank you enough for the help you brought to making this film happen. To Juan Arsenio Gabriel Concepcion, thnx for being big- someone on our team needs to be able to handle the camera setup we do 😉. But in all honesty, thank you for keeping the mood light and the humor up on set. Marvin Rei Panes for being there on a very, very long night of shooting. And thank you to everyone at Kilusang Sining; I’m excited for what future projects hold, and I am ever more stoked to be apart of this ever-growing community of Filipino Cinema. Thank you, and as always, support Filipino Cinema 🎬🎥
